Teaching All Instruments

Studio Policies

While your lesson is designed to be fun and enjoyable, all students are expected to make a commitment to their musical studies.  The quickest road to improvement and development as a musician is through consistent, productive practice habits.  At home, students are expected to practice at least 20-30 minutes, four to five days a week dependent on age and ability.

Since lessons are scheduled back-to-back, it is important to arrive on time to your lesson.  If you arrive late to your lesson, you will not be able to make up missed time at a later date.  To be safe, you may want to show up a few minutes early to ensure you receive your full lesson time.  Please enter quietly so as to not interrupt a lesson in progress.

Tuition is paid on a monthly basis, due on the first lesson of the month and must be paid by either cash or check.  A $5.00 per student fee will be automatically charged for any tuition paid after the first lesson of the month.  Your tuition reserves you a specific lesson time.  The cost of lesson books, additional music, festival fees and recital fees are not covered by tuition.

Tuition Rates

30 Minute Weekly Lesson - $ 85.oo/month

45 Minute Weekly Lesson - $130.00/month

We understand that illness and emergencies occasionally happen.  Please let us know as soon as possible if you will be unable to attend a scheduled lesson.  If notice is given at least 24 hours in advance, every attempt will be made to reschedule the lesson.  Lessons missed at the last minute are not guaranteed a make-up lesson.

Any lesson we must cancel due to illness will be made up.

If Brevard County Schools are closed due to inclement weather, the studio will be as well.

The studio will be closed the following holidays:

Memorial Day

4th of July

Labor Day

Thanksgiving Day

December 24th through January 1st

In addition, the studio will be closed for two weeks in the summer.  The dates will be determined as summer nears.  Because tuition rates take into account this time, tuition will continue as normal throughout these weeks.  However, each student is allowed 2 weeks a year for their vacation and may deduct $20 per lesson to cover those 2 weeks they will miss.  Lessons regularly scheduled for Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day and Thanksgiving Day may be rescheduled if desired.
